Journey with Jennifer from JC Penney - Episode 7
(End of Transmission)
BREAKING NEWS: Jennifer from JC Penny® returns from her unanticipated and unexpected inter-dimensional travels. During her voyage, she manipulated the dimensions, creating a layering of information when viewed through a single microfiche projecting in motion through preexisting shapes and color.
Now back in her satellite and processing the results, time was cut short when word surfaced that The Paranoids were Coming and taking what Everybody Wants. It left Jennifer not Knowing What To Do With Herself. She got stuck in her Imagination. A Cult Hero in her own mind. Became a being from Under The Floorboards and a Rag Doll trapped in More Trouble than Fish Heads floating in Trails Of Colour Dissolve. As she Unknowingly reaches the End of this Dream, she expects to hear the Golden Silence that only her three eyes can see.
This is the end of this audio journey for now, but keep some eyes out for Jennifer as she moves to dimensions two and three. Thank you for listening.
This audio adventure contains music from: Geza X, SAM FLAX, R. Steevie Moore, The Del-Byzanteens, Cult Hero, Magazine, Four Seasons, Zounds, Barnes & Barnes, Felt, The Narc Twins, The Clean and The Tremeloes.
BREAKING NEWS: The Jennifer from JC Penny® information center just received an audio transmission of her only Earth interview. Conducted by Magic Monster Radio during their 24-hour live telethon.
Journey with Jennifer from JC Penney - Episode Six
(Jennifer filling in for Jennifer)
The Jennifer Information Center has lost all contact with Jennifer from JC Penney’s satellite. No doubt we’re worried, but being the professionals that we are, we have scrambled desperately to find a replacement host for this week’s show. Luckily, after a rigorous investigation, we found Jennifer’s closest Earth relative - a rare beauty who happens to also be named Jennifer.
Tough shoes to fill, but see how she measures up in the latest episode of Journey with Jennifer from JC Penney®. Jennifer II is particularly fond of her reworking of Flipper’s “(I Saw You) Shine,” but you can also hear tracks by The Sweet, Wreckless Eric, Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, Jowe Head, Hector and the Eastmen, Los Llopis, Los Ovnis, Tony and Charley, The Nice, The Gun Club, Shy Limbs, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Knight Brothers, The Makers, Harlem, Pooh Sticks and The Name. Plus, as always, many surprises in between.

(Death of Physical Self)
BREAKING NEWS: It has come to my attention that in last week’s episode, the dark matter secretly installed one of their audio viruses into Jennifer from JC Penney’s satellite. This virus made Jennifer vulnerable to attack and, subsequently, her beheading.
Although free from the burden of Earth’s information, Jennifer’s brain is still clouded from attempting to comprehend time; weighing her down with Athletico Spizz 80. As she escapes her organic vessel, she swims into space in search of softer sounds and is welcomed by Alexander ‘Skip’ Spence who wants everyone to All Come to Meet Her. However, Forever Amber tells Skip to allow her a Chance to Be Free. While on The Caravelles’ mind, a Pop Art Experimental Band from the West Coast guides her Over the galaxial Hill into the freedom of space - Fausting like a Flashback Caruso, trying so hard for a push like the gentle waves of a firm tap of a golden Gong into the big tonal ship with Brian Eno.
Jessamine then launches Jennifer into a black hole disguised as an inverted DOME where she mistakes a Big Star for a Femme Fatale. Captured, she stares outside of The Paisley Windowpane with Wendy and Bonnie - contemplating the strangeness of life with The Fugs as the pain of losing her physical self sets in. Is this the end of Jennifer? Tune in next week to find out what happens next.
Listen to an hour of Jennifer from JC Penney as her ghost swims from planet to planet in search of one that can sustain sound. Please be patient, though - it takes her a moment to swim between planets and some aren’t too pleasant to human ears. Listener discretion is strongly advised.
Journey with Jennifer from JC Penney - Episode Four
(Unlocking the Sacred Golden Voyager Record)

If only Carl Sagan was alive to witness this. During Jennifer from JC Penney’s journey in deep space, she intercepted the beloved golden Voyager disc. Since her satellite is only equipped with technology built in the 1980’s, playback of the disc’s contents will be a little wonky. Be a part of history and listen to Jennifer’s latest transmission.
Journey with Jennifer from JC Penney - Episode Three
Earth living brings more trouble to Jennifer from JC Penney® as Delia Derbyshire casts a spell on the zoo animals of the world in order for them to arise and shine with Rolf Harris, take the subway with Chrome and then March in line with The Red Crayola. Thankfully for Jennifer, the spell is lost in translation with Kino (from having daydreams of orbiting dwarf planets with Spirit Vine) and instead starts her Motors at the airport to space. After Spectrum and Jessamine welcome Jennifer to the vacuum that is the great beyond, Neil Young transforms her into Nik Pascal® brand Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (accidentally taking us backwards with The Narc Twins) before Washington Phillips softens her landing back home in anticipation of unlocking the wonders of the Golden Disc.
Journey with Jennifer from JC Penney - Episode Two
After waking from Comus’ dream, Jennifer realizes she has been imprisoned by Francoise Hardy and the Velvet Underground, but thankfully Thee Oh Sees set her free. Tyvek claims they unraveled Yonkers’ coded numerical message to allow Spectrum to take her away, and they’d be correct. Once in space, Native Fauna blocks her from exploring their dungeon which breaks ELO’s heart, leaving only the last of the Human League to try and drive Satan away. How will Jennifer get out of this one? Tune in next week for an all new episode.

Journey with Jennifer from JC Penney - Episode One
This week, Jennifer overhears a coded message from Brigitte Bardot to Slaughter Joe about how to get in touch and follow The Kinks’ phenomenal cat. Ted Lucas tries to convince Jennifer that it’s an easy task, but Sparklehorse compares it to that of babies on the sun. The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band claims it won’t hurt, but the Househeld Objects believe it’ll quickly infect Jennifer with the Moxieville Blues. Kim Carnes’ eyes slows down time which allows a wormhole to open and sends Jennifer to an Acid Mothers Temple, but after a few hours, The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. nicely sets Jennifer back on Earth where Django Reinhardt plays her favorite song entangled in a sea of evening crickets.
